DESCRIPTIONS
1- My client was born on …. But on the identity card, the date of birth was written as … due to the mistake of the civil registration officers.
2- My client was born at home, and about 8 days after the mentioned date, my client’s uncle’s son … was born. The situation in question … his father … and his mother ………….. will testify before your Honorable Court.
3- As we know, a person who wants to reduce his age should not have a sibling at the age he wants to reduce. My client’s younger brother was born in … and the age difference between him and my client is above the period specified in the relevant law.
4- My client’s age was recorded incorrectly in the population records as a result of the fault of the civil registry officers and therefore he has problems in legal proceedings. There is also the possibility that irreparable damage may occur in the future. In addition, like every citizen of the Republic of Turkey, he has the right to demand that his real date of birth be written on his identity card.
5- Due to the reasons we have mentioned, we are obliged to request that my client’s current date of birth be corrected in the population records as the actual date of birth.
