Types of Alimony

POVERTY alimony
It is the alimony demanded by the party who will fall into poverty due to divorce, in order to ensure their livelihood indefinitely in proportion to their financial strength. It is not required for the alimony obligor to be at fault. However, the fault should not be heavier than the other side.

AFFILIATION
It is the alimony that is decided against the spouse whose custody of the child is not left to him in order to meet the education, care and other expenses of the joint children and in proportion to his power.

MEASURE alimony
It is the alimony paid by the other party for the accommodation and livelihood of the party in need while the divorce case is pending. While adjudicating for this, matters such as who opened the case and which party is at fault are not taken into consideration. It starts on the date the divorce case is filed and ends on the date the divorce is finalized.

AID alimony
It is the alimony demanded from other family members of the person who will fall into poverty if he is not helped. According to the order in the inheritance, that is, it can be asked first from the descendants, then from the upper lineage, and finally from the siblings. The condition for claiming alimony from siblings is that the siblings live in prosperity.
