Individuals over the age of 21 who want to obtain a gun license can own a gun under certain processes and necessary documents, within the strict measures regulated in the Law No. 6136 on Firearms, Knives and Other Tools and the Regulation No. 91/1779 issued in accordance with this Law. Gun licenses, together with the latest changes made in laws and regulations, have taken all the regulations that will occur on smooth or rifled hunting rifles or pistols under the auspices of the gendarmerie general command.

Yellow Press Card Holders
jewelers
General Managers and Assistants of Banks, Regional Managers and Managers of Branches Defined in the Banks Law No. 4389
Pilots
Persons and Companies whose turnover is sufficient to obtain a gun license (Md.9/h)
Land Owners
Herd Owners (9/i)
Contractors (Md.9/j)
Fuel Dealers
Employees of 50 Insured Workers
Shooting Range Owners
To the Guardians Protecting Museums and Monuments
Beekeepers
To the Guards in Charge with the Protection of Explosives Warehouses
Those Who Leave Their Institutions Completely voluntarily, Except for Expulsion and Similar Reasons
Exchange Office Holders

Notary Publics
Former Mayor-Provincial General Assembly Member and Former Village and Neighborhood Headmen
WHAT ARE WEAPON LICENSE TYPES AND DURATION?
Weapon license types are regulated in two separate laws numbered 6136 and numbered 2125. Within the scope of the aforementioned laws, the types and durations of gun licenses are as follows:
Licenses within the scope of Law No. 6136;
Keeping License, (valid for 5 years)
Transport License, (valid for 5 years)
Public Servant Transport License, (valid as long as the public service continues)
Retired Public Official Transport License, (No time limit)
Shotgun License, (valid for 5 years)
Licenses within the scope of Law No. 2521;
Shotgun License (valid for 5 years)
Dealership (Hunting Dealership) Certificate (valid for 1-3 years)
